In the next few minutes, I’m telling you a step-by-step approach that you should follow while creating a blog first time without spending single money. You might think, How it’s possible? But the answer is YES!
Nowadays, It’s possible because we have a free platform available to host a website. They are safe and the most widely used in the world. I’m talking about WordPress and Blogspot. WordPress is provided by the WordPress Foundation and Blogspot is provided by Google. You just have to use their free service which they provide us to host a website.
I believe, that when you decided to start Blogging, You must have a clear picture or idea in your mind, on which topic you are going to write about and your blog belongs. Even though, If you don’t have any clear idea, do not be worried, you must have to think first and spends some time to decide the topics which you are interested in and you have a piece of good knowledge on them. You must have to develop self-confidence to write good content, before the actual start.
Once you decided on your topic you must follow the below steps which I’m suggesting.
Step 1: Go to WordPress and Blogspot's official website, create an account, and login into that. If you already have an account then just do log in and follow the 2nd step.
Step 2: Select a domain, give a domain name as per what you choose, and select a free service while registering. In Blogspot, by default, it’s a free service but in WordPress, you manually need to select a free option. After choosing a free service, your domain name looks like yourdomainname.WordPress.com or yourdomainname.blogspot.com. It seems like it is a free service, they have added a custom name after your domain name but it’s worth it when you are starting the first time and you don’t have much knowledge of the web world.
Step 3: Once domain selection is done, the next step is to choose a Theme that you like and which is appropriate for your Blog.
Step 4: Do some initial settings such as change the Blog Name, Title, Description, logo setting etc.
Step 5: Once you have completed the formatting stuff, you can start writing your first post. Always remember that you do not be in hurry mode, write completely then go through the post 2-3 times, remove the mistakes and improve the content wherever needed. You may ask your friend to read and give feedback.
Step 6: Once all done, You just hit a publish button to publish a post on the web.
